Got the urge for some burgers tonight so sparked up the grill and they were great. Anybody besides me cook outside year round (rain or shine?)

I do. Cooking steaks tonight and going to smoke some ribs tomorrow. Unless it's flooding, I will grill.

We've had a great start for winter grilling here in Charlotte. I take advantage of any opportunity to fire up the grill.

I grill 12 months a year. If I have to, I shovel a path. I grill/smoke 4 days a week minimum.

I grill outside in January. These San Diego winters can be brutal. The other day I had to break out the old hoody before I tossed a brisket in the smoker. Temps were down in the low 60's.

I smoked a turkey on Christmas day while it was upper 20's and snow flurries. It tasted so damn good, I'll probably do another before it warms up again.

I do. Cooler weather, a lawn chair and a hot grill are a great combination.

Grilled hotdogs and wings in the winter is the shite to me. I know they're awesome any other season, but I just crave for it during the winter.

It was my first turkey. The one thing you definitely want to do is brine it overnight. I also tossed in some other spices into the brine (no clue if that helped, but it was delicious even deep into the breast). I also rubbed it with Tony Chachere's Creole seasoning.

My bird was only 14 pounds, and at 275-300, took 4 hours. If you get a bigger bird, it'll be hard to find a container big enough to brine it. But brining it makes it stay moist throughout the cooking.

I also used mesquite lump charcoal. That with the Applewood added great flavor.

Year round. I crave hamburgers but can't stand most restaurant versions of America's favorite meal. 2, 3 times a week I have to satisfy my hunger for burgers.

I've been frying turkey's for 15 years, did my first brined bird this year and will never go back to the old way.

Thanks for the info, curious did you do it on a grill or smoker?

You just are not a dedicated griller. It can be below zero and some added wind chill on top of that, but if I can get the fire started, meat will be cooked.
