I take it you have never been to RI?

Probably the most mobbed up state per capita in the entire USA. The folks who knew the correct spelling and use have all been rubbed out by now so it skewed the population.

Answer is: dominant (vs dominate)

This was followed closely by rogue (vs rouge)

This looks like more bullshite data. I seriously doubt that there are more people in Georgia who can't spell "gray" versus pneumonia for instance.

Gray and grey are both acceptable. Americans seem to prefer the former so maybe that's why so many people Google the term.

As for the data being bullshite, well, it's Google. They like to be trendy, pun intended.
