I've always wondered if it was better to lose your hair at a really young age so you get used to it fast. If you're only 16, you'll have lived just as much of your life without hair as with hair by the time you're 32. But if you start losing it at 32, it might spark some kind of crisis.

Old man perspective; Hair is highly over rated. I have been buzzing my head for years. It's a wonderful thing.
Not having hair saves money on haircuts, I can hose my head down on a hot day and not worry about it. I can get in and out of the shower and be ready quickly if needed.
As you get older cosmetic shite like that means less. Mostly you are hoping that you are in relatively good shape and aren't carrying a ton of regrets around. Hair? Go find a real problem to worry about.

Just own it and you will be fine. Just don't do a crappy job of hiding it. Shave or just get a normal cut. By the time you get near the end of college (go to college!) you will start to see a lot of guys beginning to lose their hair. Usually the only person who cares is that person.
