Just got back from the dermatologist and turns out I'm going bald. My hair is thinning very noticiceably and I'm entering into my senior year of high school. Anyone have any advice on this? Should I just go ahead and shave my head to get people used to it and save myself the trouble?

Not a bad idea.

Wear hats.

You could do a combover or style hair as a "skullet".

Lol frick your life. Goddamn didn't you have some issue about not having any friends too? frick.

To get to the topic at hand, shave that shite. Use a sharp blade. I use the HeadBlade razor. Lotion that fricking scalp up afterwards and it'll shine! Unlike your potential future.

Dude to be honest, I'd rock that shite so hard.

Please do your self a favor - grow a porn Stache and grow an overtly stringy hair style.

Turtle necks are a must.

I'm serious. Do it please, do it for mankind.

That's rough man. I went to a HS with over 2000 students and I knew one guy who started thinning in HS.

I knew several guys who were already had noticeable bald spots by 25 and I thought the best thing to do was to own it and have a sense of humor about it. Even if it bothers you don't let it show.

I thought that was a better move than just shaving it bald. But 25 is much more understandable. HS age is rough. Wish you the best with it man.

One of my best friends started thinning in highschool. He is now 27 and has nothing above the ears. Except for one random, round patch of hair inbetween his forrhead and crown. Has the old man strip going around the back of his head. He didn't shave it, just buzzed it and kept it that way. Didn't look terrible, but now has officially started shaving.

Honestly, it's all about head shape. I also advise growing facial hair, though being in highschool your beardy areas aren't fully developed yet either....probably, at least. Everyone is a tad different, but most aren't able to fully beard up to their potential until their 20s.

Lol all these people trolling you.

I started thinning bad in my first couple years of college. I would immediately talk to your doctor about propecia. It helped me tremendously to the point I don't even use it anymore (which i should). Also combine that with some of that rogaine foam stuff and give it like 3 months and see if its helping.

Mine started with the hair kinda getting kinky like fro-ish around the top and sides and thats the first sign of thinning. A few months of propecia and it had gone back to smooth regular hair like it completely reversed that process.

Anyways, sucks dude. It's a dominant gene and everyone will have it in 1000 years.

Isn't propecia bad for your fertility? I wouldn't think a high school age kid would want to take that. I could be wrong.

It's caused by excessive fapping.

How do I know? I am bald
