Because we don't really have a choice. They have us over a nuclear barrel because they simply can't sustain a serious war with anyone for very long without us, or resorting to nukes.

So the answer to your question is "to avoid a nuclear war".

It's just that simple. Doesn't mean they're bad guys or good guys. They're just guys who are definitely not going out without firing off their arsenal. And they'll do it early as tactically as possible so it doesn't come to that.

It's sad that you don't understand the special relationship we, the British and other European allies have with Israel.

We will never again abandon the Jews to be slaughtered wholesale by an insane population.

We won't abandon the homeland of the Jew who became Christ, the Messiah.

We will not allow Jerusalem, the capital of Israel, to be controlled by anyone but Jews.

We will not allow the extinction of Israel, the motherland of Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

We don't allow Israel to support any of our military or economic efforts in the Middle East because of our tenuous relationships with Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and other allies in the region. They would jump at the chance to help us but that would cause big problems with our Muslim allies.

Israel is our staunchest ally along with Great Britain. They will do anything we ask of them, short of risking their own existence by laying down their arms.

History has proven that a Jew who isn't willing to fight is a dead Jew.

This is one of the bigger problems I personally have with supporting them. Too many christians seem to think that we have to do whatever it takes to save these people because theyre God's chosen people.

They also provide the great majority of the intelligence, that we need, out of the middle east. They've got people scattered all over the place throughout Africa and the middle east as well as China and most of southeast Asia.

They are everywhere in construction and banking among other global industries.

Perhaps thats true, but again, I'd say a lot of our tech gets shared with them first. Obviously a lot of Jews are to thank for our innovations over the years. I think they are good allies to have over there, I just hate the lengths we go to with them, and as I mentioned, the religious aspect is downright silly imo.

There are less than 15 million Jews worldwide. About 6.5 million of them live on a speck of land, Israel, that is one fifth the size of Kentucky. As many Jews live in America as do in Israel.

On all sides of their tiny country reside some 200 million Muslims, many of whom are dedicated to the destruction of Israel. Jews living in Israel must be constantly prepared for war.

The small number of Jews in the world reflects thousands of years of persecution and slaughter of this tiny minority. In effect, evolutionary survival of the fittest has produced the most intelligent group of people on earth. Einstein, for example, the greatest intellect ever to live, was a product of this selection process.

We can say that Judaism, because of this shaping by human evolution, is more than a religion now. Selection for intelligence has produced a people who have to be one step ahead of their enemies at all times to survive.

I personally think this is why technology is advancing at break-neck speed here in the 21st century. Discoveries in physics are so frequent that it is nearly impossible to follow every development.

Jewish intellect is at the heart of these discoveries. Their contributions to science, in all areas, are indispensable.

I think, while it's horrible how it happened, the inadvertent eugenics forced upon the Jews over the past few thousand years is a positive for the human species as a whole.
