Died suddenly in his home this morning of a presumed heart attack. RIP to one of the legends of football and broadcasting.

Met Kathie Lee one time. She's annoying on TV but was very nice and gracious in person.

I have no hate for Frank Gifford, but I don't think you get to say "all class."
obviously he moved on from this and had a happy life with Kathy Lee. I have no judgment on him for that action, but it was a pretty public mistake.

The two main participants in this legendary photo are now gone. This hit by "Concrete Charlie" Chuck Bednarik put Gifford out of football for two seasons. Bednarik passed a few months back & Gifford passed yesterday. RIP to both legends.

Also Gifford was a two way player early in his career with the Giants. He got to learn from two of the best to ever coach football as Vince Lombardi was the Giants offensive coordinator & Tom Landry was the defensive coordinator.
