Cornbread. Everyone always says you have to know how or know someone who knows how to do it right.

Apparently I've never met that person.

Only with a little horseradish and Tabasco.

For me, things I don't get the love for are fried chicken, fried catfish, fried okra, most things fried.

I'm mostly in agreement here.

I don't wanted breaded/fried anything. I don't mind okra with sauteed with a little salt & garlic powder.

Some people view oysters a status hey look at me sort of food, which is weird, because you can get them at Hooters. To me it's not that they aren't ok tasting, they're just not worth the $ or the trouble and risk.

Just give me a nice salmon or tuna steak and skip the risk of some nasty Gulf of Mexico disease.

Oysters are proof God loves us and wants us to be happy,

I'd say Pho - don't get it.

Something I've never had but would really like to try Black Pepper Crab.

What is there not to like?

It's broth. You like broth, yes?

It's noodles. You like noodles, yes?

A few herbs maybe. Some meat possibly. Perhaps a soft boiled egg. Some veggies.

Yeah, people identity it by how many dozen they eat. I can eat chargrilled, which is something that is actually prepared (and flavored) to be eaten. The raw is like a badge of honor you wear. Strange.

It's just soup. And not made of particularly good components.

Salmon and Tuna are generally served rare.

They are also apex predators.

That means that all of the pollutants in the water end up concentrated inside of them.

But hey, look at you, what a nice plate a fancy schmancy grilled mercury meat. The tings and tangs of wine glasses and silverware salute you.

I don't like it. I'm not a soup person. My wife loves it. I don't. It's ok.

Also, stop saying veggie. Are you a pinterest blog bitch? Are you a kindergarten teacher?

Wouldn't the ingredients depend on the what the person who makes it decides to put in?

There's high quality and delicious ingredients if you choose, and broth can be made excellent and healthy or shitty and unhealthy.

You sound like you don't get out to good food places or cook much.

I'm not a sweets person. I don't understand people who binge on them. Anything more than a couple bites is gross to me.

Not a fan of popcorn.

Chewing gum is just disgusting

Honestly, most Cajun food. I don't get the obsession with condiment-heavy seafood dishes. Too many spices mixed in for my personal liking.
