Mike Huckabee
Bobby Jindal
Lindsey Graham
Tom Cotton
Marco Rubio
Rick Perry

These are the current political faces of the South. That's embarrassing.

The one that really gets me is Lindsey Graham. How does that guy appeal to anyone at all?

It isn't just the south Ham. Every single state has at least one complete arse clown in office.

I believe the issue is the common citizen is now a bumbling retard. The general public votes based on R or D and issues that have no business being on the ballot. In the south you get right wing religious lunatics, in the west you get liberal vaginas.

Up until 50 years ago, Southerners had solidly voted Democrat for over a hundred (and forty) years, when they finally let us cast ballots again following the Late Unpleasantness.

Most of us deep down, really don't like Pubs, but we hate Socialism even more. The MSM guarantees the Progressives and Leftists will eventually win, and ironically enough, put 90% of these so-called journalists out of a job.

JMHO.

It's not lack of education it's lack of knowledge. There's a difference.

Yes, in 2008 I voted for Obama over the senile war hawk and his bimbo sidekick. So what? You think the list of pol's in the OP is something to be proud of? LOL..

One gains knowledge through education...

If you mean a lack of intelligence, that argument could be made as well.

How did you miss Mitch McConnell and Rand Paul, two of the biggest faces of the South?

I would take any of those over the apologist CIC.

Has the man ever spoken the truth in a campaign speech?

Have you ever thought, and hear me out on this, that maybe it isn't the politicians that have changed, but the general public? Politicians have never been appealing to everyone, but they were more appealing to the majority. We now have access to an effectively unlimited source of information. People have gotten smarter, we see flaws that would have never crossed our minds even a few decades ago.

But please, do continue to assume everything is changing other than yourselves.

It's not just Southerners, it's this entire country. I'm most amused by the people who genuinely believe there is a difference in the two parties. On the issues of American interventionism, support for Israel, the surveillance state, the militarization of police, keeping the drug war and deficit spending, there is absolutely no difference in the establishment of the Republican and Democratic Parties. The Ron Paul's, Gary Johnson's, Dennis Kucinich's and Ralph Nader's of the world are persona non grata in both parties.

Americans keeping voting for the same fools from the same two parties for two reasons: 1) We are a nation of stupid people; and 2) We would rather be constantly reminded of how great we are rather than look in the mirror and face our own hypocrisy.
