Forgot about Grand Canyon. Truly amazing!!! Would love to raft the Colorado through the park.

Yellowstone largely because it is fly fishing mecca. That also helps you get away from the crowds.

I would put Yellowstone at the top if it didn't have a chance of blowing apart half the county

Yellowstone was my favorite but Zion NP was a close second followed by Grand Teton. The Grand Canyon was cool as was Mt Rushmore. Smoky Mountain NP are nice too. I drove by Mesa Verde but didn't have time to stop. I hear a lot of people complaining about the crowds at Yellowstone but that wasn't my experience. We timed it perfectly going in early May just after the park had opened for the summer. Crowds were actually small and we had a very easy time getting around the park.
A really cool place we use to go when I lived briefly in Colorado was Black Canyon of the Gunnison in west central Colorado. Technically a national monument and not a park but a really neat place. Same with Royal Gorge just outside of Pueblo, CO. Highest suspended bridge in the world. Driving up to the Colorado Monument above Grand Junction, CO is quite an experience too.

Denali - the animals.
Yosemite - gor-geous.
Grand Canyon - amazing, a must for any American. Like being on another planet.
Definitely the top 3 in my book. Of the others in your list, Rocky Mt. is the only one I've been to.
Denali is incredible. Saw so many animals and the mountain if you can even see the summit, is amazing.
Yosemite just about made me cry it was so breathtaking the first time I entered the valley. Didn't seem real. If not for the crowds, it might be #1 in my book.

May is a much better time to go. I was at Yellowstone at the peak time. Had to work around kids school.
I frickin love Zion NP. Hiked the narrows. Want to go back and do angel's landing.
Black Canyon of the Gunnison is now a National Park. Not sure if it was still a monument when you visited. Stayed in Grand Junction after visiting Arches NP. Didn't have time to see Colorado National Monument. I love that area of canyon country.

I agree. Words don't do it justice.

Not a big fly fisherman but it doesn't get any better than Yellowstone if that's your thing.

That's a National Seashore but I love Ship Island.

Yes it is. I was trying to keep the topic to the 58 National Parks. I agree Gulf Islands is great and wasn't trying to be a jerk.
