Please allow me to introduce myself
I'm a man of wealth and taste
I've been around for a long, long year
Stole many a man's soul and faith

And I was 'round when Jesus Christ
Had his moment of doubt and pain
Made damn sure that Pilate
Washed his hands and sealed his fate

Pleased to meet you
Hope you guess my name
But what's puzzling you
Is the nature of my game

Damn, I was already in my 20's at least when Phil Hendrie's show came to Houston. But I loved it before he went serious.

Stevens & Pruett were pretty much always on the radio in the morning drives during high school, no matter who was driving.

Les Crane on KLAC. KRLA for rock--maybe the best AM rock station in the entire nation, 1965-1970.
