Did you know that Louisiana is sinking into the Gulf?

Lousiana losing like 25 square miles of land every year...
I'm not making light of this. I had no idea it was a problem. Have any Louisiana natives on the rant been affected by this?

The next New Madrid quake will possibly knock Louisiana into the gulf, widening the Mississippi as far north as Lake Michigan, making for a divided America.
