Lol, Denmark?
I saw where they're prosecuting a rape victim because she used pepper spray on her attacker.

It is much easier to have a socialist economy and legislation when you have 5.7 million people and they all will pull their weight. It is a little different with 324 million people and a good portion of that is trying to use the government to live.

Ding ding ding. Just because something works in one place does not mean it will work somewhere else. Literally thousands of factors that would cause socialism to fail in the US.

They're a different country with different values and attributes. I wish them all the luck in the world to make their country as great as possible however they want, but it's unrealistic to think what works in Denmark would work in the US.
The US is founded with the idea of personal freedom because we're a large, diverse, economically liquid.

I always feel sad when Scandinavia gets brought up. They went from the biggest badasses around to a bunch of sniveling pussies.

No sense of self-preservation. It's like Protestant original sin has morphed into secular white guilt.

Want to feel more sad? We're on the same track.

So much for American Exceptionalism

Sniveling pussies that get to work less for more... where can I sign up?

I looked at the front page of the website the "article" came from and it told me all I need to know about your "source."
I would suspect you are a supporter of Bernie Sanders.

Before you immediately disregard the article because of the URL, perhaps look at the sources cited for each point the list makes.
It references Forbes, CNN, Washington Post, Bloomberg, The Pew, Gallup, and World Bank Reports.
Or don't if you're that opposed to reading something you might disagree with. Reading and deciding you disagree is definitely better than not reading at all. At least then you might learn something new or gain some insight into why people you disagree with think what they think. Filtering our news and only allowing through stories that affirm our opinions is one of the reasons why America is so polarized right now.
It's not the end of the world if the US isn't the best at everything.

Denmark is roughly the size of Metro Atlanta in population.

Not a bad idea at all.
They most likely won't let you in.
They've started seizing the assets (as in literally taking all of the cash, jewelry, and other valuables) of those seeking asylum.
Seems like they've decided they don't like freeloaders coming in to take advantage of them.

Politically, Denmark is right of center. That seems at odds with all of the social programs, but it is one of the things that makes the country unique.
They only want immigrants that can make a positive contribution to the state. You can buy your way in or prove over time that you are an asset.
You cannot show up with your family in tow either. They will let you come in for a trial period. If you become proficient in Danish and show that you can provide for your family, then the rest of the family can come in. If you flunk during your probation period, they will kick you out.
A lot of EU countries think Denmark is being insensitive towards the migrants. Denmark really doesn't care what other EU countries think.
Bernie Sanders likes to talk about Denmark a lot, but he forgets to mention that Trump-like people are in charge of immigration. That wouldn't fit the narrative of the US left at all.

Imagine that......

Yeah we'll see how this socialist experiment goes. With their insane tax rates, Danes dont have nearthy the purchasing power that Americans do. Not to mention the taxes are driving away all of the wealthiest (i.e. job creating) Danes.
