Working. The kids had a 3 day break last week but I had Professional Development and Parent/Teacher Conferences.

My kids used to get a full week in October and Thanksgving was just two days (might have been three, it's been a while). Now the school system is off the full week of Thanksgiving, but there are only two non-consecutive days out in October.

Why do we even have a holiday for someone that never stepped foot in America?
He was out looking for gold to fight the French and was searching for Australia. Got turned around and landed in the Bahamas. He committed crimes and decimated populations of natives while holding Spanish colonists accountable

Ours is just Thanksgiving week, so just 3 days. It makes sense. We hardly did anything that week anyway back when I was in school, especially that Wednesday.
I know some districts have a week in October which is kind of dumb. But the school year is a lot longer these days. My kids went back first week of August, and get out last week of May. We went Labor Day to Memorial Day when I was a kid.

Worked today
BTW A&M does not give fall break, Columbus day, or labor day even. All we got was 2 days for Thanksgiving, Good Friday, 4th of July (summer classes), MLK, and Spring Break
