I honestly am disappointed at how much folks have been slipping itt. We have standards, and "frick clemson" quotas haven't been reached.

UVA designed and founded by a man who supported slavery, probably raped at least one black woman who bore him kids, and there is a good possibility slaves were beaten and lynched on his plantation.

social justice warriors like youwill ever beat up on UVA for this though.

i don't think there is any evidence that Tillman personally lynched or took part in lynchings of black people. he no doubt expressed support for lynchings though.

i guess what i don't understand is why you think Clemson people want Tillman to continued to be named Tillman because we want to honor a racist who has been dead over 100 years. or why you think the students and alumni have any power over what the building is called. that is something the trustees vote on.

i myself never knew the buuilding was named after a racist and that tillman was a co-founder of the school, until a few years ago with the BLM types made it an issue.
