I am currently visiting Cincinnati and am having a hard time figuring out what team in the power 5 that the majority here cheer for. I think the majority obviously cheer for the University of Cincinnati as far as non-power 5s, but I've seen more Kentucky and Louisville fans than Ohio State fans. Any ideas?

I was there recently. It seems like a good mix of teams, similar to Atlanta. I also saw a lot of Miami (OH) stuff. My guess is that it's just not a college-oriented town but is big into baseball.

Friend is from Cincy and is a die hard OSU fan. (Went to UC)He said the majority of people from Ohio love OSU regardless of where they went to school.

You get a decent amount of UK fans there from people in the Florence/Newport area who live in Kentucky and work in Cinci. Having been up there a few times I'd still say it's more Ohio State.

My other observation: This part of the country is miserable.

Been to a Bengals game before here and will be attending a Reds game tomorrow. Otherwise just golfing around town, but this city needs some TLC. Any recommendations to change my view?

Cincinnati is in better shape than Cleveland imo. Not much to do, but doesn't come to mind when I think of worst places to live.

Have you thought about the Creation Museum?

have you been over to Newport yet? Could always try kings island. You really have to know the nice pockets for cincy, but the down town area is nice. As soon as you get out of the tiny bubble of that, good luck

I would probably get kicked out of a place like that for being extremely rude. I am not sure how I couldn't stop laughing at that type of shite.

Well.... here's to golf and a Reds game . Perhaps a Bengals Training Camp session? I'm not sure how boring those are.

I fricking hate Ohio and the people from there. I'm sure that's no help, just felt like it needed to be said.

My wife is from Cincinnati, her mom and sister are still there. UC is probably the team of the commonfolk, though there are some OSU football fans. I think the richer east-siders generally are more Xavier fans. In terms of fun things to do... I don't really have a whole lot for you.

There are some solid neighborhood dive bars, but you pretty much have to know people who already go to them. The museum center at Union Terminal is actually really cool. It's the building the artists based the Hall of Justice from the Super Friends cartoon on. Enjoy the Reds game, there's usually some fun stuff right around Fountain Square downtown, but it's just as possible that there's nothing happening.

I know you're just defending your fellow yankees, but they suck. I don't know anything about dick sizes, perhaps you could inform the group about your experience with their large reproductive organs.

Angry? I'm never angry on here. I took a great shite, ran 3 miles this afternoon, and the weather is perfect. I just think Ohio people suck...I think that's pretty reasonable.

Enjoy your weekend, catfan.

Ohio does kinda suck. Not as bad as Indiana, and far less than Mississippi. But for its region, it's kind of lacking
