I' tellin' yall, Birmingham is getting so cool day after day after day. More new places to hang out. We'll never be Nashville, but we're on the up and up.

Hey 20 years ago Nashville wasn't close to what it is now. Never say never.

I have to drive through there all the time. I don't see what you are talking about at all. That place is a dump.

Every time I've gone through it it seems like a dump to me

Haters gonna hate, but Birmingham has been coming up in a big way the last 5 years. There's a ton more potential too, and as long the upcoming generation keeps taking pride in the city and building it up its only going to keep getting better.

I love my city.

Land Shark and Landmass, stop and actually do something. It'll change your opinions.

I'll admit Birmingham isn't the most aesthetically pleasing city, especially driving through on the interstates. But there's a lot to when you actually get into the city, and a lot better looking places you can't see from the interstates.

It's Jackson, Mississippi without a cool Science Museum. And that's no compliment

Couldn't be more wrong.

Birmingham is a cool place for sure and does offer a lot that most people don't know about without living there.

It is definitely trending in the right direction. I'm a Birmingham fan.

My wife and I talked about this over the weekend. Saturday night, downtown Bham hosted a sold out heavy weight boxing match, a minor league baseball game, and two Garth Brooks concerts. By all accounts, downtown was packed and all the events were well received.

I've lived here all my life. I would have NEVER recommended that anyone move here before. The last 5-10 years have really changed the city. Its a pretty cool place to be now and getting better.

That is impressive, when he came to little rock he did 3 nights in a row but never cloned himself to do two at once.

Might be moving to the Ham soon enough. Always thought it was a beautiful area

Any good spots for the mid to late twenties crowd?
