C'mon down to Key West, brother. Good food, great bars, lots of touristy stuff to do, and we have two really great beaches in Fort Taylor and Smathers.

I also lived in Charleston and that place is just the all-around tits.

Key Biscayne off Miami, then head to the keys for real. Great road trip and an awesome and extremely unique destination in Key West.

Man I wish we could make it down to the keys. We probably will once I'm out of medical school, but we really don't feel like driving that far right now. We are wanting to avoid flying so we will probably just settle with destin for next summer. Plus we can stay a full week this way. Im so jealous you're living down there

Was gonna say Fernandina until I saw you wanted west coast. But, if you ever get out that way, bring your 4wd and go to the Amelia Island State Park on the the south side of the island. You can drive out to a nice secluded beach and stay away from the crowds - it's my favorite spot out there and even on a weekend as busy as this past one we were able to have a nice time with plenty of elbow room. Congrats on the nuptials and have fun

Check out Seaside or Rosemary Beach.

They aren't as crowded and congested as Destin and aren't much further away for y'all.

Im about to book a place in Seaside!
Im loving that the area is less touristy so it will be perfect for us. Its our honeymoon so

Running on the beach, and then riding a bike to a local cafe in the morning is going to be amazing. Ill definitely need it since it will be right after my first year of med school

When you are close to ready to go, post a thread here. Lots of folks on here go to that area often. Also, checkout 30a.com
