Hey guys, if you ever get a chance you have to stop by Pappa Charlies off Rusk. The best BBQ I've had not made by my Dad.

Thanks I will have to check it out. Most seem to like Goode Company BBQ off of Kirby.

Edit: Pappas looks to be right near Lucky's Pub. Good location right there. There is a brewery nearby called 8th Wonder that has good beer and a pretty decent tap room.

If you're in Dallas, I'd highly recommend Cattleack BBQ in the North Dallas/Addison/C-FB area. It's off Alpha and Midway, whichever of those it is. It's only open on Thursdays and Fridays from 10 til 2 or they run out, and you get a complimentary Shiner(no liquor license) with your lunch.

I agree with this

I'm still partial to Goode Co. BBQ

But Pappa Charlie's is a nice alternative for that part of town
