Going to the game in Fayetteville this year, and it's my first time. Any suggestion on places to eat, thing to see, etc..?
TIA

Some of my bbq favorites:
Sassy's
Whole Hog Cafe
Penguin Ed's B&B
Other foods:
Taste of Thai
Shogun
Loafin' Joe's (subs and pizza)
Geraldi's (italian)
Burrito Loco
As far as things to see:
campus obviously (especially Old Main and Senior Walk)
Dickson Street
The Square
Crystal Bridges
lots of outdoors stuff around here
Maybe drive up the Pig Trail (Hwy 23 north from I-40)

Thanks.
Everything I found suggested places like Hog Haus, The Catfish Hole, and Hugo's. (Hog Haus has pretty bad reviews on the site I was on) Planning on hitting up Dickson Street and The Square. Also saw Pig Trail mentioned. Might have to do that, depending on game time.
Thanks again.

Catfish Hole is a good one. Their hushpuppies are great and the catfish is ok (not bad or anything). It's also where the football coach has done the radio show and recruiting events happen. It's really mostly a place that people go after church and is packed on weekends but I recommend it.
Hog Haus is just in a cool building right on the main corner of Dickson. Location gives that place its business. I wouldn't go there if I were you. Food isn't great.
Definitely do the Pig Trail if you get the chance. It adds some time to your trip but it will be the perfect time of the year for you to do it. It's a pretty storied route to travel to Hog games. It was used back before I-540 was built. Also you'll pass by the famous Petrino crash site near Crosses
Hope you have fun

Hugo's is a good place. Lots of good burgers and in a cool speakeasy kind of spot. You go downstairs from the sidewalk to get in. Also right next to the Square so you can kill two birds with one stone

try their Applebees. It's a great place to meet locals and have a drink.
