I am thinking of ordering some Cabela's 400 thinsulate Duck boots. Has or does anyone own any of these?

I know LL Bean makes the original at about double the price.

Go with the LL bean. Got a pair of sperry ones and they tore up with in a year. They cost the same as the LL bean ones. I've since gotten a pair of the LL bean and they are worth every penny. No signs of tearing up and I've had then the same amount of time now as I had the sperry ones.

How often did you use your Sperrys? Also what did you use them for?

I'm thinking of cold slush/snow footwear only for mine.

Pretty sure the LL BEANS have a lifetime warranty on the soles. They did at one point a long time ago when I first got a pair in the late 80s.

I'd consider Muck's mid chores.

Or these LLBeans. Think the traditional duck boots are too femme, but a lot of people like em..

Only complaint I (had) about the LL Bean ones is the heel is high and hard. I sawed the heels off mine and I've had them for a dozen years.

LL Bean could probably survive a nuclear attack.

I've had mine for almost a year and a half and it looks like they just came out the box.
