It's pretty good. One of the places here makes a yellow curry with pineapple that's pretty good as well.

I HIGHLY recommend it. If you like Asian food at all, you will probably gobble it up.

I do like Asian food. A lot.

Quick question - is it actually called Green Curry on the menu, or something else?

Big fan of the green curry at Surin. Tastes great and opens your sinuses at the same time!

That's what I had for dinner last night, and lunch today. Soft shell crab green curry from Surin Moutain brook. Foodgasm.

I worked in the kitchen of a Thai restaurant for a summer and know how to make all the curries. Masaman is probably my favorite but green would be second.

I cook curry for the whole family probably once a week or so. There aren't any good thai places anywhere close to where I live now and I got addicted to the food while I worked there so I'm glad I can get my fix whenever I want. You can't make a quality dish unless you get your ingredients from one of those legit Asian markets though.

There is an Indian place on 280 in Greystone. Buffett. Good stuff. Lots of different curries (sp?). I always thought of that food as nasty, etc. Complete opposite. Awesome stuff.

That's awesome. I make masaman and some other curry dishes at home (Indian and Thai). I love it.

Funky,

The Mnt Brook location is the best IMO. The 280 just doesn't do as good of a job, but it's closest to us. Have you tried Nori behind the Colennade? It's another Thai place that has similar offerings to Surin. It's just cheaper.

I didn't think it was possible to make curry unappealing, but you just did.
