I've finally seen enough commercials where I might try it
What site is best? any problems with it?

Draft Kings? Man those commercials get old. They must be pulling in some dough though.

I have some friends in the private equity business who have funded these guys through their second round. There is a formula set up for the third round valuation based on subscriber growth. It has nothing to do with profitability. It's a classic internet Land Grab circa 1998. So the two companies are pouring over $1 billion into advertising this season cycle to see who comes out with the greatest market share and subsriber growth rate. It's a classic tease model, by which you feel like you are close to winning something, but rarely do. Such as: "If my running back would have gained 20 more yards I would have made $100,000 last week"....that sort of thing. Just like the slot machines from the 1950s that show cherries the first three slots, then the last one just barely misses. It's the oldest model in the book. These guys are old school Vegas pros. They know what they're doing. So, good luck with that.....

Yeah I kinda figured that was how these things were working, they will have a couple of winners to pull in more people but no matter how hard you try you ain't gonna be able to grab that carrot out on the stick.

I play, but do I expect to win a lot of money? No. I look at it like buying scratch off tickets, as it only cost a dollar or two and if I lose it isn't a big deal. However, if I do win, it could be a lot.
I usually enter the $1-$2 tournaments and just hope I get it right 1 or 2 times during the season. Usually you have to place in the top 17% or higher to win at least double your money, but if you could place higher then you can get a big return on your $1. It is fun to me so that is why I do it.

That's how I look at it as well. I only play the cheap games and almost always win my money back. I think it's fun but never expected to win much of anything
