My sister gave me a huge bottle of it for my birthday. Have not opened it yet. Is it good? Also is it one of those you save, or is it regular drinking booze?

Im a bourbon drinker, and this is a blend of things from Colorado including Rye and some scotch, which sounds a bit odd to me.

What say the OTB?

Based on the commercials I've seen for it, I'm going to guess it's not a save for special occasions whiskey.

Never had it though.

It's a great hunting camp whiskey no doubt about it.

I was in the liquor store yesterday. I looked at it and decided to read a review. This is the one I read.

LINK

quote:

Tincup is rather simply sourced bourbon (from where the company doesn’t say), watered down with Colorado water and bottled here.

After reading that , I went with the old standby's.
40 Creek , Jack and Knob Creek.

Although, I am sure I will buy some and try it come this deer season.

Yeah, the commercial made it out to be a marketing ploy.

It's a good mixer. If you're a bourbon drinker, you won't want it neat.

It's not bad but I wouldn't call it a special occasion whiskey by any means.
