Is getting the GoPro Hero4 worth the extra cash over a GoPro Hero3?

Will be getting one and using it for fast action video and was wondering if there was much difference in them for the price...

Depends on how you use it I guess. If you want features w/o add ons go with a 4 but if not i'd go with a 3.

I have a 4 and it's pretty nice, I don't get to use a lot of the features though due to the nature of filming with a go pro. Video quality is pretty nice however I don't know that it's much better than the 3 if any.

Mines primarily for kayaking but i've used it biking as well. Pretty much if you are going to be moving fast the features are kind of overrated. However it is nice on the car ride home to see some footage if you have power left and I'm going to try it out hiking this fall. I think the remote and wifi stuff with the phone could produce some really cool pictures, I'm not sure the 3 has that built in.

That sounds like a decent deal on the complete set. Pretty much the setup I have except I have a floaty deal that sticks on the back which is pretty much a shitty option unless you are kayaking and won't use the camera screen anyways.

I'm gonna be doing what my sig is showing.. I just don't wanna buy something that won't be good for it. I'm already dropping a ton of $$ as it is.
