90% of people who use handicapped parking spaces are not handicapped in any way

I would have never noticed this, except my wife really is handicapped. She had a stroke 19 years ago and has never been able to walk again.
All it takes to get a handicapped sticker is a doctor's note.
Most people are so lazy they don't want to walk the extra 20 feet it takes to get to the front door.
I've seen perfectly healthy people park in the handicapped space to go exercise at the YMCA.
I hate to think how many people are faking disability to get disability social security. I'm sure that one day it will be enough to endanger the funds for people who really are disabled.

Fat people should have their own designated parking spaces....like a minimum distance of 150 yards away from any store entrance. The long walk will help shed some weight.

I would say they are handicapped in the head

I only fake being handicapped at Disney World. All other places would be trashy.

They make up 90% of the people riding on the motorized shopping carts too... taking them away from the actual elderly and disabled.

I had a temporary handicap placard a few years ago after I tore my ACL and had surgery. Was excruciating to walk 150 feet.
When I see people who are literally running after getting out of a car in a handicap spot makes me want to thin out the gene pool a little.

Careful now, that's fat shaming. You don't want fatties of america to boycott you.

I have a soft spot in my heart for fat people.
Nevertheless, a few years back, I witnessed 2 grossly fat women (you can guess what race they were) in a SUV parked in a handicapped space in front of an all you can eat buffet. They emerged from the vehicle and waddled to the cafeteria. Neither appeared to be handicapped at all.
I know I broke the law, but I opened their car door and removed their handicapped permit.

Reported to the police. Real good chance you're going to get brutalized and possibly shot.

This is racist and not relevant to your point--even if the race you're talking about is white. IJS.
I hear ya on the handicapped parking space abuse, though, and I'm sorry about your wife.
Hell, I didn't even get a handicapped tag when I was on crutches/in a walking boot earlier this year. Frustrating as hell to see someone who appears to be just fine in one of those spots.
Then again, I don't know what's going on in their lives or what happened to land them in that situation, so I generally stop short of actually being livid

I've had a couple coworkers in the past who brought in doctor's statements so they could have an elevator key to use the elevator in our building and park in the handicap area in front of our building. Neither was fat or sick, they were just lazy as frick.
One had a note for arthritis while the girl teaching in the classroom next door to her was going through chemotherapy and never once said anything about it.

1. "Fat" is a horrible bigoted and inaccurate word that has been used in persecution for centuries now. You wouldn't call a POC a N word or a Jewish American a K***, why are you doing the same thing here?
2. People who are blessed in mass are that way because of genetics. Their bodies simply aren't engineered to run the way that smaller people's bodies are and society should alter itself to accommodate them. Including parking spaces.
In the future please be mindful of other people and avoid hurtful words. If you choose to use "fat" again I will consider reporting you to Chicken/the SPLC.
Thanks.

Just saw a lady speed by me and parked in a HC spot. She then ran up to the ticket window with her son running late for a show is my guess.

Everytime I see a fat person with a handicapped placard I rage on the inside.

I tore both Achilles tendons and have the ability to park handicap. I've been told I will be wheelchair bound by the time I'm 40. So I'll enjoy as much walking as I can now.
