I imagine we have some Ranters in the Dallas area right now. I pray they stay safe with reports of potential bombs and shooters still loose.

What in the Actual frick is going on in this country?

Jesus must be coming soon. shite is too crazy. Was this a terror thing? Protester shooting back would be an emotional thing not a sniping situation. that makes me think this was a terror thing.

Christ is much more concerned about everyone's salvation that he is about the "frick is going on in this country."

This whole thing is fricking nuts. They are still negotiating with a shooter.

This vital point is lost on far too many people - both believers and non-believers.

Christ's concern is with you the individual. When it comes to eternity, the rest is just fluff.

My little brother lives literally a mile from where shite went down last night.

Spent the night checking up on him. Thankfully he's safe.

I have two really good friends that live in a condo off Main that can see that parking garage from their window 200 yards away. I was watching a live feed on Fox News of a condo lobby I've been to 50 times. It's surreal.

Sad its had to come to this. My heart goes out to these officers and their families.

But deep down, we knew it would eventually come to this.

It really is crazy/scary where this country is headed. We are in dire need of true leadership across the board.

Folks, this isn't something that's new in the history of our country. The 1960s were a time of racially fueled riots, bombings by domestic terror groups, and other violent acts. It was so bad that the National Guard had to be used to protect people INSIDE the 1968 Democratic National Convention. It may get there eventually, but we aren't very close to 1960s violence yet.

The only difference between then and now is that in the 1960s you had to see it on the evening news or read it in the paper the next day. Now the challenge is deciding which Periscope or Facebook Live feed to watch.

He's got a lot of blood on his hands. Going way back to the Police officer/professor breaking into his own house situation, instead of providing calm leadership he's fanned the flames - often times only to later find himself having landed on the side who's narrative wasn't supported by the real facts.

12 Officers Shot, 5 Officers dead, 2 Civilians dead, 1 Murderer dead, and 3 suspects in custody.

I'm curious to know the intentions of the Murderers. Depending on who these tPOS's were, it could have drastically different outcomes in social unrest across the US.

I'm in Dallas. Please do not read into opinions of the media right now. The amount of information they have gotten wrong and changed the story because of this just in the last 10 hours is ridiculous. The only people who actually have a clue what's going on right now is the police department. I literally heard in an interview someone say what he "heard" and then go on to say "I know for sure it was an AR-15". It could have been any number of guns, people are making claims without facts. Give it some time for things to come out.

false. This country is racially fractured in a terrible way after Obama's 8 years. Feminism, BLM, SJWs, and all the rest of the regressive left have started an "us vs them" style of thinking that wasn't present in the 80s or 90s

So true. The amount of shite information flying right now is ridiculous. I'm just glad we have a competent chief here to head this up.

With all due respect, bullshite. Look up the LA riots. There was shite going down that wasn't being recorded. There has always been an "us vs them" mentality, and it's not necessarily inaccurate.

That's just my 2 cents. I pray for the Officers families today. This is such a tragedy.
