That's fantastic! She could go another 50 years and not do that again. Trust me I know

Par 3 course. Not legit.

Could we penalize her a stroke for slow play? Goodness gracious.
But seriously, very impressive. I've hit pin twice, but never made one and I haven't hit pin since I was 13 so it's been a while. I'm very jealous of her.

I would make fun of the OP, but there really isn't much of a way to say what the OP said without leaving it wide open for jokes

Awesome for the little girl but got damn did we need a 6.5 minute video for a 15 second shot? Geez.

Lost a bet with myself.

Went and played a local course after work one day. They paired me with some 12 year old boy who wasn't very good. His friends were in the group ahead of us and they left him behind. Felt bad for him because he was obviously excluded due to being the worst in their group. On the first Par 3 hole, he skulls his tee shot about 120 yards, which ended up being enough to hit the green. The ball rolled right up to the hole and dropped in.
Sucks knowing that I've played golf my entire life and don't have a hole-in-one while this kid already had one but it was also cool to see him celebrate while his friends looked on from the next tee.

I wouldn't have clicked had I known this was a golf thread

Beginners luck
might have been luck, but those girls don't have the swings of a beginner. They'll undoubtedly both be scratch by the time they're in HS if they keep playing.

Not sure if germans here, or where it took place, but I read in the past 2 wks or so that there was a group of kids, hiding in a blindspot near a par 3. They would wait for a group to tee off, then pick one ball on the green, green somewhat hidden from the tee box, & run up & put it in the hole. Seems like there were a lot of celebrations on the 19th hole that day.

Lots of pervs in this thread, but yes, that was what I noticed as well. These girls are getting some good coaching, their form is really good for their age, and in 4-5 years, they might be the next Michelle Wie.

If you could get your daughter to break 100 10-15 years ago, she could probably get a full ride to some colleges. I remember people saying that if you don't want to pay for college, teach your daughter how to play golf. Now, some of these girls are damn good. I think there's about to be a wave of young, talented golfers about to come through the ranks.
