Yep, if you take your time and separate the pseudo efedrine carefully and cleanly you can get an ounce for an ounce yield, but it takes more time than most want to take, so you can usually figure 2.5 ozs of pseudo to 1 Oz of dope depending on the recipe and the conditions (humidity, temperature etc).

Sounds like a whole bunch of Mexican meth on the way east from California on I-40.
Most of the meth these days is from Mexico, since its easier to cross the Mexico/US border than it is to buy ephedrine at Walgreens.

Missouri doesn't have much room to make fun of other states for their meth problems.
