I've been a casual watcher of this up to this season. I've seen every episode, but not always locked in. These first 2 episodes have been really good though IMO. It's a break from them just running drugs and the bad acting.

what happened during that last scene? she saw the gun on the counter and that was evidence that it was planted?, even though it was hidden in one of the drawers?

She saw that James didn't put the gun in the drawer. If he had the murder weapon on him, he most likely would have tried to hide it immediately. So, she now believes he didn't kill Greg.
She also saw who the person was that reviewed the tape she was watching. Forgot the guy's name, but it was the actual person that killed Greg. So, she may suspect that guy is the mole (which the audience already knows he is).
