When I started watching Mizzou football Mel Gray and Johnny Staggers were the receivers, but the best one that I've seen was.........LINK

Agreed. Such a shame his knees couldn't hold up.

Maclin had the best career.Alexander had the best season.I was at the game he tore up Kansas St.Video doesn't show him catching a short pass, breaking multiple tackles for a 70 yard TD.

I'm going with Danario....not the fastest but GREAT hands and knew how to get yards after the catch.

I have to say JMac. I will never forget sitting up in Lincoln in 2008 and watching him run away from Nebraska defenders all night. Hilarious.

Injuries guaranteed that we often forget that he had beaten JMAC for the starting WR position, started the season opener against Illinois, had a good first half only to break his arm in the third. He was special.

Alexander was absolutely NASTY before his injury. I remember a game where he juked a CB or S out of his shoes by the sideline. He wasn't the fastest guy, but man, he was so smooth.

Kellen Winslow. A TE but a hell of a pass receiver. Too bad he was on a run first and often team

Maclin. And technically he was a TE, but Rucker was incredible during his years at Mizzou.

2007 we had a great group of receivers/TEs. Maclin, Franklin, Coffman, Rucker, Alexander and many more solid contributors.

2007 was the year we should have won it all. How did we not? damn oklahoma

We didn't win it all back then because our defense was always atrocious

DA as far as Mizzou players go. I don't think anyone else comes close when DA was healthy. His senior season was one of the greatest in college football history. The guy was the best combination of size, speed, athleticism, quickness and hands I have ever seen.

He looked slow because of his stature/long legs. He was every bit as fast as someone like Maclin. I'd bet DA's actual top speed was higher than Maclin with Maclin having a slight edge off the line.
