When did Stec start playing best player on the Defense??

If you look at both sides of the ball the O has always been junior and senior heavy. HCGP's QB of choice for 3 years. Seldom plays RSFR or Sophs on the OL. And WR's were usually JR or SR's. RB's who get the bulk of the carries are JR or SR's. Different this year on WR's. The O is HCGP's side of the team and that is the way it is done.

But Stec changed and did the opposite. Best player whatever your experience is. True freshman at corner. RSFR and RSSoph on DL and at LB.

When did Stec change the D to best player plays? 2009??

I wonder if we looked at Mizzou's 2004 offense versus our 2015 offense if we'd see any striking similarities.

All I can remember was the idiotic attempts to turn Brad Smith into a pro-style drop back passer, still shudder when thinking of that season.
