Just when we thought our BB program was on the upswing we lose 2 starters for the year: Bri Porter & Jordan Frericks, both to ACL tears.

Bri was never a starter. This is probably a career ending injury for her. It's her 5th ACL injury.
The younger Porter is a better player, but she is still coming back from foot surgery.

Thanks for the correction. 5 ACL injuries? shite they should install a zipper to make things easier.

Women are just more prone to them than men.

I remember SI doing a story on it - they highlighted one team, I want to say it was Iowa, where something like 9 or 10 of the women had already had ACL tears.
