I'll add to it in that I hate when that game is on our schedule. Scary game that late in the year.
I agree....their "garden of eden" or something is located just outside of KC. Football game + actual religious holy land......I don't like it.

It's sounding like we're playing Muslims not Mormons with this holy land talk.

That's because Kansas City is actually their Holy Land. Missouri is their Israel, and they haven't forgotten the persecution their great grandpappies and grandmammies received in Missouri.
Trust me when I tell you that payback is on their agenda, but it'll be payback for mass atrocities committed against their people.
This game will be personal to them. It'll be like a Holy War fought within a 100 yard rectangle.
We fricked.

Don't believe that one bit. I get that there were some terrible things done to them. But I have never heard any Mormons talk about getting payback for those
T. Hill their QB might just be the best QB we face. Do they still have the 6'7" WR he's a tough matchup. They tend to be strong along the lines. And play a little dirty. Clots of late hits. Daring refs to call them all.

I think you're taking someone a little too serious. Then again, maybe not. Who would have thought the holy war would be with the Mormons.
In all seriousness though, they're as fanatical or even more so than Catholics are with ND.

The same argument could be said about the B1G and STL.
Um, actually no you couldn't. It's not even close.
The biggest reasoning is that Mizzou, all beit considered by some to be a "Big 10" school at heart, was never in the big ten. They threw a "rivalry" game out there against Illinois so people in the Lou wouldn't feel left out to pasture. The only reason they still carry these games on in KC is because there are many upon millions of Mizzou fans here and the SEC is rewarding those of us who stand on the front line of terrainy to fight the righteous fight to keep KC (SEC territory)out of the hands of those who would run us to ruin, namely the lowrents of kansas otherwise known as beakers. KC Mizzou fans are justly rewarded with these games.

Sir Killz, that 100 yrd. rectangle will be their hell on earth come November my friend.

Need to play a game close to the kansas border now and then. Drives the pussyhawks crazy. Reminds them that their tournament is in Missouri.

Mormons have money. I predict they will travel well - especially to KC because of the religious angle.
Arrowhead is the greatest tailgating venue ever.
Mormons drink less beer than Baptists - it's like inviting gays to a titty bar. They may have fun, but they will miss the point.

Then why the HELL are you saying STL isn't important in battling the big 10 over recruits(and only KC is). I believe some guy Ezekiel Elliot, hes like a bench warmer or walk on for OSU.

Don't recall saying the Lou was not important. I did imply that maybe some in the Lou are not as interested in a FB game there or it probably would have happened by now. Both sides of the state have good recruits. Never said otherwise unless it was a jab.
I also implied that KC still deserves a FB game for being on the edge of a conference rivalry for so long and Mizzou probably doesn't want to make the west side of state feel like they were being abandoned when they switched conferences. That's why I said the game against a big10 team wasn't the same thing, and it still isn't.
