There's no way Odom is our coach next year

We lost half the fan support after the SC loss. Now that we've gotten blown out at home to Purdue, the fan support number got even smaller. The lack of fan support is what will get Odom fired at the end of this year above all else. Lack of fan support was the first thing Strek mentioned after he fired Kimbo.

Strek didn't even hire Odom.

Odom is screwed

frick Odom

He needs to be fired now if he wasn't at halftime.

When would sales of SEZ suites start?

You can't do that with Daddy Warbucks at the helm.

That has been my point since the end of last year. This recruiting class can only suck more the longer that BODumb is the frontman.

You really only have 3 options.
1. Fire immediately if you are able to bring in a respectable coach who is currently available. This season will only get worse and the stink will spread. Regardless, Sterk should be actively pursuing a replacement doing all things short of "tampering"

2. Fire BO the minute the last game is over (last embarrassing loss) regardless whether he pulls out 4 or 5 wins. Due diligence for the replacement should already have taken place along with all "affirmative" guidelines met or set up so as to not delay the new hire. This is probably the most advantageous/likely choice. It may even help save the recruiting class this year. It may allow a rationale for current commits to remain (they all have to be questioning their choice at this time) as well as give us any small chance to land any remaining prospects who have legitimate offers from legitimate FB programs.

3. Do nothing, ignore the obvious, pump sunshine, make excuses and drag a replacement hire on or worse yet rationalize that BO should have another year(which in fact is not a choice)

Or wait until the seasons over and let the product on the field determine if Sterk should bring BO back. More games like last Saturday, then you move on too a new coach.
If the team gets better then bring BO back, better is still probably 6 wins.

Not a chance of that happening.

2-10 for the season.

2 wins? What's the other one? Right now this team could not beat Wassmatta U with Bullwinkle in a body cast.

Took a look at the schedule. We might have a chance of coming out of "Bye Week" without a loss. Maybe.

I don't see 2 wins either. I would tolerate sucking for a few years to rebuild but we aren't rebuilding, we are regressing. Sterk has to pull the trigger so we can rebuild.

Agreed. Time to put the BO Era out of it's short lived misery.

Have faith in Sterk

Man I hope that the rumors of Sterk talking about 7 or 8 wins are true.

Doesn't look like Gus is feeling any pity party mercy rule any time soon.

I hope he runs up the score against Odom's stank arse team.

We cannot sit around and let other schools pick their coaches first. BO must be fired first week of November and Sterk has to have his guy by Thanksgiving. Sorry UTSA or Northern Illinois

Gawdammit Sterk, are we really gonna have to watch 8 more episodes of this shite show? How about we get some of the intramural kids suited up and out there, at least they'd look interested in the game.
