Random thought here.

Is it just me or does Alex Rios seem like he's just here for a paycheck? He just doesn't seem to fit in with this team. Again, just probably me.

Never really thought about it. I love the Morales pick up though.

Question about All-Star voting. I finally voted, they had it set up so I can vote 30 times in one day, just had to keep typing in the code...is this something new. I can remember voting years ago, you only voted once a day.

Yeh thats how it works.....this year. It's one per email address too. If you have more than one email address, you can use it to vote more times if you want.

I wasn't specific enough though. So hopefully offense and great pitching over the next 4 games-by the Royals only. ha

Well. Big goose egg last night. This series is highly important. I agree though, I'll take an improvement of hitting coupled with the pitching we have right now any day.

It seems these opposing pitchers are pitching perfect games against us. They're shite in their priors and pitching lights out when they go against us. We need to change something up against these guys. They got to Gibson last time taking pitches. This time he was hitting corners all beit, most of those were highly borderline stikes. Could have gone either way. he found the sweet spot with the ump and then just went to work on the outer edges. Different ump, probably different outcome.

These umps are going to have to get their shite together. I agree with Smoltz analysis. They need to give the umps a chest protector and place them directly behind the catchers like it used to be. I agree that setting down to one or the other side of the catchers are too much of an angle to call strikes or balls consistently and correctly.

Royals win! Royals win! What a walk-off (or sprint-off) that was! #ThatsWhatSpeedDo

No clue what the rook was doing in the 9th....that's a pretty rough way to make your MLB debut. Oh well, the team got the W and that's what matters.

How long until we see Dyson starting in RF? He's clearly a much better asset than Rios right now.

Dyson is becoming a complete player. I think it'll be a season or two or a trade away before he's full time. I think he'd be a good leadoff man right now. His hitting skill has improved a lot over last year.

My question is, where is Gore? Why call up Coleman over Gore? Gore has good base running skill and I think much faster than Coleman. Gore would have scored on that play lastnight no doubt.

How about Cain. That guy is LOCKED in right now.

That was brutal to see that pinch runner get thrown out in a run down like that.At least it didn't cost you the game.

They sent down Colon so needed a middle INF/Utility guy. Until the big league roster jumps to 40 in September you won't see Gore cause he doesn't do anything other than run the bases.

Wow, could the offense be coming back? They left some balls tattered and battered yesterday. Or are the Rays that hittable?

Went to both games yesterday and you are right. Scored an impressive 16 runs but they hit the ball hard a lot. Easily could have had more runs early in the first game. Was fun to watch.

Ok. The Gordon injury really sucks. Dyson makes a hell of a play and bails them out. Can Dyson keep pace? Platoon the position between Orlando and Dyson maybe?

But...... the offense takes apart (so far) one of the best pitchers in baseball. Impressive. Cain rattled his cage with that 400ft. Blast and he never really recovered.

That was quite the first half fellas! All the injuries and issues with starting pitching, yet here we sit.

Done deal. Nice pick up. I just hope KC will be able to sign him for next season. Would like to have Finnegan. But decent trade.

Great trade.Finnegan was just a middle reliever, and Lamb has been an up and down starter.Cueto is exactly what you needed.
