I think Beckner and Logan are going to combine for a big year. As a RSFr and TFr, they combined for 48 Tackles and 10 TFLs.
With Hatley and Augusta setting the double team in the A gap , Beckner and Logan are going to be one on one with a guard playing beside Harris. Can't double team them both.

I'll defer to you guys with coaching experience, but at first glance, with my limited understanding, wouldn't Logan be more apt to be setting the double teams with Augusta and Hatley working Beckner with the 3-Tech? I haven't watched much of Logan, but it seems to me that Hatley is quicker off the line and can get that up field push more so than Logan.

Go watch what Logan did the last two games of the year vs the best two rushing attacks MU faced after Beckner got hurt. He had a monster game vs Tennessee. They rotated he and Hatley at the 3tech the last two games of the year and he had 10 tackles.
Hatley had 9.
I think he does a better job shedding blocks and finding the ball carrier.

There's been some rumblings that they might not redshirt freshman dt Utsey. They have him listed at 285 lbs. which is kind of light, but DeMarco Farr was about that weight when he played with the Superbowl Champion Rams.

I'll take your word for it. I just never really pictured him as someone that gets a good push up field but rather a space eater. No reason for me to picture that because I haven't really focused on any game play for that so I'll just assume my impression was just wrong.
