My family has season tickets to MU and I have no watched a basketball game (either in person or on tv) in two years.

Neither will hoards of other former Mizzou fans. And the AD and admin know it. Perniciously shrinking attendance and being a college basketball laughingstock for 3 years will demand change. I'll make a dollar wager that if Mizzou wins less than 15...Kimbo will resign before he's fired. He can read the writing on the wall. And a guy can only take professional humiliation so long.

If he was going to resign for not being up to the job, he would've already done so. I don't blame him for that. If someone is giving you $1M a year, you keep taking it until they stop.

Bass, he wouldn't have cashed it in after 2 years. But after three, he will...if under 15 wins.

You taking my dollar bet?

He won't quit on his own volition. Why would he? He'd at least try to ride out his first or second class until they were seniors.

If I'm the AD this is my simple, patient, but realistic expectation for Kim Anderson this season:

Make the NIT: You can have another year.
Don't make the NIT: You are fired.

Keep in mind it's been:

2014-15: 9-23
2015-16: 10-21

So if you expect this year's team to do better than making the NIT, you're being woefully unrealistic.

I think it will be hard to tell what happens if he wins <15 and is gone. The school may let him "resign." I don't think he does it on his own volition. He is a competitor. And he's not prone to second guessing himself.

I've supported KA from the get-go but it's put up or shut up time. IMO KA wants Mizzou BB to be relevant again for Mizzou's sake not his; that's why I've supported him.

I think everyone supports him from the standpoint of wanting to see him be successful. We all want the program to be not just competitive, but at least very good. I want to see him bring it there again. But many people, including me, have questioned from the get-go whether he was the right guy for that job.

No question that he's a good man who loves Mizzou and wants to see the program succeed. I'd love to be wrong, love to see him turn the team into a winner. I just don't see it.

I'm more worried about the quality of play more so that the number of wins.
Mizzou wasn't even competitive in all but 2-3 of the losses last year.

That's also fair. We've barely seen progress under KA. That's very disappointing.

making the NCAA tournament every year are the expectations at this program. I'm not gonna lower my expectations because of the last few years. He gets one more chance to get us to the tournament or he's gone. I don't expect him to do it.

The thing that pisses me off the most about KA is that he has to put together a new team every year because half the players on the team the previous season either got kicked off the team or transferred. Way to discipline and hold a team together, KA.

Kim has only lost one of his players since taking the reigns. I do think it's NIT or bust this year, but the team was not in a good spot before he came.

Rosburg told my buddy that there was a ton of tension in the locker room between most of Haith's guys, because Anderson wouldn't let them clown around during halftime. They essentially said he was too structured. I'm curious to see what this team does this year. Crossing my fingers for an NIT birth.

Haith left us in a monster hole, a bunch of street ball players (and not good ones at that), and an investigation and sanctions. Errbody still blaming the wrong guy. And errbody talking about what happens in terms of him leaving but not what happens then (I'm sure we will just snap our fingers and get Marshall )

fans gonnna fan

but yeah he has to do better than 12 wins, but he probably will.

False. He lost his entire first class.

I think he stays with 15 overall or 5 SEC. He's had the chance to develop his roster. No excuses now.
