So, this would seem to be Kim Anderson's best recruiting land at Mizzou. Will he be around to coach him?

That is good news!

He has to find a way to win 12 games at the very least.

I think he gets another year after this one. Sterk's main focus seems to be on football

Honestly,Missouri fans are as much to blaim for this as Anderson. It's no secret that donors campaigned hard for Anderson to get the job, and now are dealing with the consequences of wanting a "true son" to lead the program back to prominence. Many donors complained the players in the program lacked discipline, and the AD who has tried on numerous ocassions to kill the basketball program obliged, and gave the donors what they wanted in order to prevent from losing any more TSF donors. Alden gave the donors what they wanted, and now they're second guessing themselves. I shouldn't be surprised though given the lack of leadership at our institution. Athletic directors are letting fans dictate who us qualified for the position with their money.

We fired Carlton Banks for a season 10X better than Kim's best in ever single data point.

Anyone who thinks race didn't have anything to do with the boosters' antipathy for him and excitement for Kim is probably not facing reality.

Goddamn old white tards won't support football because of one missed practice and wanted Kim because he was an old white tard himself.

90% will probably vote for Trump.

When the football and basketball programs return to respectability I hope Jim Sterk is true to his word, and has had time needed to cultivate new donors who won't abandon the programs at a moments notice. Part of Missouri's problem is we always want to relive the glory years. Maybe it's time to look toward a future where we stop accepting mediocrity. These donors who abandoned the program and are a part of Mizzou medoricty in all sports shouldn't be a priority for Sterk moving foward.

For some odd reason, I feel like the team this year will be around .500 this year. No real logic behind it, just a gut feeling I have. We are going to get eaten up inside though, especially on the defensive end. But somehow, the team just seems to be on the same page with a common goal.

Gotta give props when he deserves it. This is a good get.

I think if he wins a minimum of 12 he gets another year.

Yeah, that sucks but that is Mizzou basketball at the moment.

No way he's staying with 12 wins. Even diehard Kimbo fans will admit he had 3 years to show "significant progress."

He's gonna have to have a .500 season and include some upsets.

Sadly, I don't see that happening, and by the middle of the conference schedule the furtive hunt for a new coach will be well underway (if it isn't already).

I think it depends on how the team plays. For example if Mizzou has a season similar to Mississippi State last year. MSU won 14 games, but also lost 9 games by 1-2 possessions.

If we win 12ish games and he's retained, I will not be watching Mizzou basketball for a length of indeterminate time.
