Hopefully that's code for, if you don't meet the 6 win target, bye Felicia.

I'd say it is.

I’ve said it all year....Odom will be back in 2018 as HC of the Missouri Tigers. Everyone just gets their panties in a wad on here for nothing. You can’t change it, and certainly Sterk isn’t going to make decisions about coaches futures by what people say on here. This board is what you might call “irrelevant” in the big picture.
Now, he needs to win some games, but he doesn’t have to run the table either. I wish we would, but it’s not likely that will happen with this team.
I do think he will need to go to a bowl game in 2018, or his seat will be hot.

Man I'm so glad you set that straight, for a minute I really thought the Rant was dictating Mizzou policy.

Of course they aren’t, but most on here sure think they are.

By proxy, everyone here kind of is. Fanbase as a whole anyway.

No one is going to games. If Odom doesn't right the ship in a serious way to end this season then I'd say a seriously apathetic fanbase is going to be a big reason for his demise.

You don't need a degree, suit, and a title to see that the product coming out is dog shite and has regressed in every facet since Odom came on. Where has the program gotten better? If people continue to fail... they usually don't get to continue on

The offense is way better than in 2015. It was as bad as the defense is now.

The offense and defense are both performing at a level worse than last year. That’s not progress.

BO's demise will be from his own failures.

How does BO "right the ship" with nothing but shite teams remaining on the schedule?

What would his signature win be?

The offense just had the best showing against Georgia of any team Georgia had faced. Because of the schedule being frontloaded the total number look down, but it’s about the same as last year. Both years are much better than the offense that BO inherited.

If he keeps his job it will be because the defense gets better in the second half of the season. The only way I see that happening is to get younger at DE, especially on passing downs.

Kentucky was only giving up 70 yards rushing a game. Missouri had over 200.

Screw all the analysis. Don't lose to Idaho. Sounds ridiculous until you remember MTSU.

Reminds me of the attempts to prop up KA at the end with Kenpom stats

It's as simple as this.. However, watch the spin on how BO has turned the program around with a W over that powerhouse Idaho.

It's been a total wash so far.

They put up about the same level of offense on UGA as they did last year.

UK was better yea. UK is also garbage. And it's offset by the stonewalling by Purdue.

We shall see how the O holds up against the rest of the SEC slate.

It's more about the D though which is what should be getting Osom fired after the season.

Signature win won't be necessary.

If he makes a bowl game, that will mean he went at least 5-1 down the stretch. That would be "righting the ship" and that would save his job.

I hope Sterk judges Body Odor on more than wins against garbage teams.

He will be facing a sure fire firing of a Butch Jones team and a probable firing of a Bielma team.

Mixed in is a garbage Vandy team and Idaho and UCONN.

Hell of a way to keep your job combating mediocrity.
