Johnson is fast but he doesn't hang on to the ball well, even when he catches it.

Johnson caught 24 passes on 42 targets last year good for a 57% catch rate as a RSFr. Washington and DGB caught 55% and 58% of their targets respectively in 2013.

Both Johnson and Mason had a habit of dropping well-thrown balls at the worst times. Moore did too during the first part of the season. They also would turn the ball over at the worst possible times. Kind of anti-clutch players.

The entire team had a tendency towards f'ups during game changing moments. They were a snatch defeat from the jaws of victory kind of team, which is no fun to watch.

your statistics don't measure that. hope they get it worked out

I thought we were discussing just Johnson. Mason led the team during conference play with a 65% catch rate. Bud Sasser caught 64% as a RSSr. Their body of work as a RSFr and true Fr was great considering the disparity in targets.

We can agree to disagree.

Johnson's biggest issue wasn't drops, it was fumbles.
If he grows as a player in similar ways to some of the past Mizzou WRs he is going to be great by the time he's done.

Not as a WR, but he scared the shite out of me fielding punts. Or should I say trying.
