I was supposed at how well our OL did in pass protection. Lock did a good job of stepping up in he pocket.

That's good to hear. The offense also picked it up and made some plays.

I missed the spring game because of "obligations"

I noticed that as well. Lock did an excellent job of going through the pocket instead of around it.

Hit Witter for a big gain doing that, and could of had another but Williams dropped it (good hit by Newsome though).

Thought he played very well.

Drew Lock has the arm talent, if his touch improves, look out. Conway looks like fun player to have around. I think Strong and Crockett are number 1 &2 on the RB depth chart when season starts. Justin Smith is gonna be a fun weapon to have around. I thought offensively it went as I expected. Sloppy in the first half but got better with more reps. Play calling was vanilla. Wish we would have ran more bubble screens and WR screens. I missed those. Defense was solid. All in all. I gave them a C for the game.

Looked like a good crowd. Is everything now good with the fans and football program.

Crockett is one thick dude. He definitely looks college ready. Hopefully he can play that way.

I know Odom doesn't want a roster full of scatbacks and that's what we have now.

Simms is HUGE he was way bigger than a bunch of already big dudes.

Same is true for the LT this year.

I hope Strong and Crockett are 1 & 2 but the reality is that missing the spring, it's an uphill battle. Witter will be 1. They may pass him before the season is over but I suspect he'll start there.

I would assume so. Just as importantly, I saw where some fundraiser (dinner or something deal) raised record numbers.

Witter can make some plays for us. He has put on some muscle and I even saw him break a few arm tackles. He's an excellent receiver as well

Ideally though, I see him more as a change of pace/3rd down back.

Agree. Hopefully Strong or Crockett can carry the load with Witter or whoever spotting them.
