@DavidCMorrison: The only injury listed is RB Trevon Walters. Tavon Ross (3rd string FS) and Morgan Steward (3rd string RB) are back on the depth.

Really good to see Steward back. Hopefully he's fully healed and ready to play. I'm guessing Ross did not have a full tear. I don't see any way he is back by now if he did. Think he can have a big impact on ST this year.

@DavidCMorrison: The only true freshmen listed on the depth chart are Corey Fatony (starting punter) and Terry Beckner Jr. (3rd string DT).

@DavidCMorrison: Walter Brady listed as starting DE opposite Charles Harris. Rickey Hatley still listed above Josh Augusta at NG.

Hopefully Frazier is ready to roll.

@DavidCMorrison: The listed starting O-line: LT Connor McGovern, LG Taylor Chappell, C Evan Boehm, RG Mitch Hall, RT Nate Crawford.

Seems like a mess with almost no one playing their natural position. Hopefully Cuellar and/or Howell can make an immediate impact.

@DavidCMorrison: Raymond Wingo still listed as a wideout, 3rd-string at the X. So he's moved from the slot.

Don't get this one at all

@DavidCMorrison: Marquise Doherty listed as a running back, Ronnell Perkins as a wide receiver on the roster.

It also says that the DC was last updated June 15th, so obviously it's all subject to change anyway.

Thanks for the info & I also hope Steward is healthy and ready to go.

It's still mid-summer so I wouldn't worry about who's listed where right now.

Everything is TBD except Maty & Evan

@DavidCMorrison: MU's preseason camp starts Aug. 6 and runs through Aug. 27. Totals 19 practices, with scrimmages on Aug. 15, 20 and 27.

I've been on the Brady bandwagon since watching spring practice. He looked impressive. And people I know that claim to have access to the team kept saying he was far better than the other freshman DEs

Agree, it will be interesting to see where the JUCO's settle.

Steward - fan-tast-ic! I hope he's in shape and competes. Big turn-around for him. This is very, very good news.

Any new info on Abbington?

What's the deal with Steward? How good is he supposed to be?

He's big and fast. Or at least he was. No idea what type of shape he is in now.

Per Matter, here's the entire depth chart. Haven't looked at it yet completely but did see they moved Bauer out from center to guard again.

They still have Brantley at #1 DT so either some guys will move around (TBD like y'all said) or Beckner is #2 behind Logan.

Also think Lee leap frogged Beisel at the MLB spot unless I'm remembering wrong. Probably gives some idea of what the staff thought after watching tape of the spring and talking it over.

Bailey still hasn't put on enough wait starting his 2nd year. If he ever wants to play, I imagine he has to find a way to put another 30 pounds on. Wonder if he's athletic enough to play DE? Or even TE maybe at 265?

He was good enough that the stat had planned on moving MM, an almost 1000 yard rusher to an all purpose back. Splitting time at WR & RB.

Says a lot about what the staff thought of him a year ago.

Yeah Steward had some awesome high school tape and we've all been waiting for the kid to explode on the scene. Hopefully he can get in game shape and be productive this year. He could be a big help if healthy.

Just can't stop thinking about how huge it will be if Steward comes back healthy and can perform. Don't need him to be a #1 type of RB. Hansbrough is that. But with a healthy/performing Steward and an Abbington that lives up to hype, we're right back to having all kinds of depth at RB, pushing Witter back to 3rd string.

On another though...what do ya do with Doherty? Let's assume for football he'd normally redshirt this year. Do ya activate him and play him if he can contribute somewhere? Even if it's just on ST? On the one side, he's likely gone after 3 years for baseball so might as well use what you can get out of him. On the other side, if baseball ends up not panning out, would hate to burn the redshirt if that is what would have originally been done. Just play it as you would if baseball was not a factor is my guess.

I think you just have to approach it like you would any other recruit and let things play out. A LOT can change in his baseball development over a couple of years.

I'm really hoping the backup QBs have improved enough that the coaches use Mauk in the running game.

Last year the coaches didn't want Mayk getting injured, because of the lack of a solid back QB. So didn't use Mauks legs to help the offense.

Mauk is a great athlete and adds a whole new dimension to the offense with his running. Zanders & Printz need to improve so that Henson will use all of Mauks skills.
