Softball moved up slightly to #18.
Play Missouri State tomorrow at 5:00.
Go to UT this weekend. UT lost 2 of 3 to SC who we swept the 1st weekend of conference play, but UT has also beaten ranked ND and FSU teams.

Not sure what to make of this weekend. Lost 2 of 3 to UT. What was supposed to be our strength, pitching, gave up 12, 8 and 10 runs.
2 games against Illinois on Wednesday and then Welcome Auburn to COMO for the weekend series. Auburn is 32-2 and swept UK and OM so far and are putting up big runs. Should be interesting to see how the staff responds because they'll be tested again.

Does anybody know anything about Finucane's struggles so far? Seems to be getting hit pretty well. I had seen something awhile ago about an injury, but nothing since and nothing official.

Haven't seen anything official. I probably saw the same thing you did. She's fighting a shoulder injury/soreness. I don't know if I buy it.
We jumped out 12-0 in the 3rd. If she was really injured or sore, that would have been a perfect opportunity to bring Baxter in and let Finucane rest that shoulder. I don't know what her deal has been, but I haven't physically watched her pitch much. Just follow the games.

Gonna be a real test this weekend playing #9 Auburn. Our leading HR hitter has 7. Auburn has girls that have hit 15, 14, 11, 8, 6 and 6.

A walk, a catcher's interference, a wild pitch and a 3 run HR from Sanchez later and it's 4-3 Auburn.
