So what have you accomplished by NOT watching Mizzou basketball this year?

I have been:

Reading a few books
Playing PS4 more often (GTA and Call of Duty)
Watching House of Cards on Netflix
Painting random stuff in my house
Watching some other movies/shows
Actually using the treadmill
Not cursing at the TV while watching Mizzou basketball
Shooting the guns

All in all it has been refreshing. Thank you Kim Anderson for bettering my life.

Retained some form of sanity.
With the help of my management, have been working 12 hr. days.
Started shooting archery again.
More time for reloading.
Really got into watching a ton of paranormal crap on tv. Yeh, I'm weird that way. I find it interesting.

I've even kind off stayed of the rant as well as not watched ANY CBB. Waiting on baseball, MLB and collegiate as well to start and then slide into football again.

Watching 2 tv shows. I never had time in the evenings before because I was watching sports every night. And also finally getting around to finishing reading the Dark Tower series.

I am more of a guns guy, but I get that therapeutic feeling. I forgot to add going to the gun range (I have an XD 40 and a Wyatt Deep Cover .38 special-for you gun enthusiasts who I know will ask) or out to my dad's place to shoot the AR. It is much better than being pissed off before during and after the basketball games. It is crazy having this much free time.

I feel like not watching Mizzou BB has just all around made me a better person? I am happier on a day to day basis because I have just been able to work on me ya know? I stop to smell the roses more. No more fits or rage, panic attacks, or manic depressive episodes. Thats what I have accomplished.

I have continued to watch Mizzou. Watching Vandy hit its shots out of their offense was fun.
Good offense always is fun for me.

Sustained contained nuclear hydrogen fusion with a net positive energy output. Was a good season

Got through all 7 seasons of Sons of Anarchy.

Last weekend, decided it would be more fun to pick the dog hair out of the carpet, one hair at a time, instead of watching the game.

The XD line is a great gun. I own an XD45. It's also a good time to run some rounds through the AR with the "bargain" priced ammo out there. You know it won't last with the elections coming. I'm not familiar with the .38 you're refering to. I'll do some looking. Sounds interesting. My next purchase is a Sprinfield Armory M1A with synthetic stock.

I love archery. Been out of it for awhile, but just bought another bow recently. I shoot both compound and traditional. Compound is a Ross Carnivore and traditional is a Martin 65lb. recurve.

Yep, lots of other things to do besides pull my hair out and possibly break my flat screen watching KA's craptastic coaching attempt.

More snow camping and mountain climbing (I live in Washington state).

Got a Fitbit and super competitive with my wife/friends to burn more miles every day. (I snowshoed 17 miles yesterday in steep old growth forest.)

More guitar playing. I'm really into J.S. Bach on my nylon Taylor guitar (fingerstyle) and Tool on my Gibson electric.

Seriously, Mizzou being in the crapper has been a benefit, although I still lurk at SECRant and RockM websites occasionally.

I've watched most games. My three young kids have even started watching with me. Wife ordered involuntary psych evaluation and I'm no longer allowed unsupervised time with children.

Ive started watching more replays of the recently good mizzou teams, then cried even more because of that.
