They are gona want revenge after what we did to them last year during their homecoming parade. Really no easy way to put this but Florida looks like they are storming back to the top sooner rather than later. South Carolina's defense is terrible so don't expect what you saw yesterday to happen again. With Florida's defense matching up against our offense...it doesn't look good. We are gona need some serious help with defense getting turnovers and maybe even special teams scoring some points if we are gona have a shot in this game.

Yep. They looked like world beaters last night.

Ole Miss' lack of pass rushing pressure allowed QB Will Grier to carve them up and McElwain did a nice job of dialing up plays that allowed Grier to drop and deliver quickly. The Rebs also played off coverage which made things even worse.

I don't know what Odom is gonna do, but it had better be different than what we saw Freeze do last night.

Just weeks ago Florida nearly lost to a uk team which we all agree we should beat with lock

Ole miss is not a bad team, they were not the #3 in the nation though. Bama turned it over 5 times and still nearly beat them.

We also avoid the swamp

This isn't to say we are a shoe in to win, but they will have to show up and beat us.

It's a classic trap spot for UF as well.

They follow us with LSU and Georgia.

Both lines will need to play lights out.

Exactly. Football is week to week. People overreact to one performance good or bad. If WE play well, we will have a good chance to win.

I honestly think they are more tuned in for this game then they are for LSU.

VH3 mentioned this game during SEC Media Days and we have basically blown them out the last 2 years. I bet they will be focused on defeating us at home during homecoming.

If we win we will earn it and it's not due to Florida's lack of focus. This is a stretch here in October for Mizzou, Florida, and Georgia which will determine who heads to Atlanta.

Even at our worst, in 2012, we played a close game with a good Gator team in the Swamp. Then again Muschump was their coach and Coach Mac is looking like a SEC COTY candidate.

Yesterday I think they played their "game of the year". Hoping for a letdown next week. They have brutal next 3 games. @MU @LSU vsGeorgia. I'd imagine we are the "overlooked" game.

They looked really good, but I'm not sold on ole miss. If Bama started and played Coker the whole game, they would have beat them.

I am scared of Grier though. Dude can throw and run.

Florida in the Swamp and Florida on the road are different teams.

Ole Miss played a really sloppy first quarter and they never recovered from it.

If Mizzou can get the momentum early and keep it we have a great shot to win.

Defensive game for sure, I'd expect a 21-17 score.

I'd be shocked if UF put up 31 on our D

UF scores late. You know how we do, they always let the game get close at the end. Then they get that last first down to seal the win.

I'd say we hold them to 20 or less.

I can't describe my joy that uga lost and florida won. We can beat fla and since they are so high up, we move to around number 20.

As long as we can get through the game with a +2 or 3 in the turnover differential, we win.

Vegas line for the game has Florida as a 3.5 pt favorite. They also have Mauk as the probable starter. Are there really people who believe he'll back and starting next weekend?

Their defensive line and our offensive line is not a good matchup. This may be the key to the game, in the trenches. I hate to say it, but I don't like our chances if it comes to this.

Am I crazy or did I see McGovern at RG for a play or two?

Yes, I believe he played RG on some goal-line packages.

Several things have been said in this thread that I agree with against the lizards. Turnover margin will be key. And our OL vs. their DL is a tough match for ol' Mizzou. Get to work Ricker.
