Well, to be fair, I think you called him a crack baby.

That probably (definitely) had something to with the backlash.

There was more to the explanation. Crack-baby was just part of it.

Kim reminds me of somebody, and for that alone I just know he's got to be a donkey brain in certain areas.

At least all agree a change is for the best after the season.

I just don't see the value in the constant negative hate without any reasonable evaluation of what it all really is.

You have no real evidence the players have lost respect for him.

For the most part a bunch of these guys just recently chose to play for him.

And he's not been all that bad at recruiting given the complete situation. There's some half decent guys here.

I'm more interested in this topic from a social experiment now. In a part it's natural, but there is effort across the board to condition people to commit their emotion in one direction or the other and to block empathy for the other side of the spectrum. Polarization is what sells in the media. Strong division. I have no idea, but I think all of that plays into how common it's becoming for people to lack whole perspective thinking.

I think people just want their Mizzou nut kick given to them the proper way.

In the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament.

Not every three days from October to February.

He couldn't keep the players from the 14-15 team. If they would not have transferred we would have at least a 20 win team this year.

Its not just that these players didn't like the system or his coaching style. It is him. I have seen coaches that were good men, but that didn't mean I respected or believed in them as a coach.

Players transferring during the beginnings of a coaching transition doesn't mean the guys who are here don't respect him.

I mean, there's plenty of ways to criticize the guy -- saying he's not respected because people transferred in 14-15 isn't the best way to do it.

I'm not sure that's really true. That team won 9 games. 8 against D1 competition. Sure this team would be better, but doubt it would be that much better.

They probably would be 9-3 or 10-2 going into confrence play and they probably would have 10-12 wins in confrence play.

Given the hole he was in when he took this over, combine it with a controversial probation.. what do you expect.

You make it sound like we got the death penalty. No, not a good situation but it wasn't like we were devoid of talent (though we did have unbalanced classes) and it's not like we got hammered by the NCAA.

I suppose that's possible, though none of those players really have been great to this point in their college careers.
Look at J3 & Teki's stats this year.
They have combined stats if 12 points and 8 rebounds a game.

J3 is a solid contributor on an undefeated Gonzaga team that has played much stiffer competition than Mizzou. Last I saw, he contributes 10 of those 12 points you reference.

Teki has sucked at SDSU.

except for jw3 that roster sucked. and it would still suck. Although wright might end up as a decent backup at CO.

and it doesn't matter. they are not his guys, he's not responsible for them, he's responsible for this bunch

And it's difficult to say on the rest. I think any that would have contributed at Mizzou (Gant/Wright) are still sitting out so it's difficult to say how their college careers will pan out.

Wright is a plus scorer.
JW3 would be a leading scorer and rebounder on this roster. There's lots of obvious things which follow from your comments that have been hashed out dozens of times.

I wish KA supporters would make up their mind because I'm constantly confused. When KA talked Gant and Wright into staying I was told how great of a recruiter KA was and that he gets credit for those two.

So I guess the guys you're talking about that he's responsible for are D'Angelo Allen, Tremaine Isabel and TGC?

I kid man. But I look at the current roster and I don't see more than a couple of guys on it that get me excited.

Yea I'm not saying Mizzou wouldn't be better with J3, Wright, Gant and Teki. Just nothing we have seen from KA or those guys yells 20+ wins.

No one on the roster gets me excited. There's a couple of good complementary players. That's it.

There's basically 2 players that I think can be plus P5 level players Hughes and Smith.
Puryear, Phillips, Jackson can be good role players.
I really like CJ Roberts though.

True enough. I still stand by the fact that most of them are MVC type players.
