Shouldn't be surprised, but the level of suck

Of course after I post this they get back in the game.

I don't get these painfully slow starts every game.

3 straight years of being terrible in the first 10 minutes of games.
A lot of the offensive struggles early come down to shot selection. Started 2-12 shooting. At least 4-5 of those misses were shots that shouldn't have been taken.

Let them be miserable.

It's what they want.

Shot selection is one of the reasons I have a hard time enjoying basketball.

I get there are systems and things happening that I don't see, but the level of randomness and irresponsibility with so many shots makes me constantly wondering -- what the frick.

Then you have the entirely subjective 50/50 foul calls. The fact you can drive into someone and knock them over and the foul is on the other guy. It seems pretty stupid. But I'm sure things about the sports I like are odd to people who don't know it.

that is the most annoying rule in bball. Technically if you are moving at all the foul is on the defense, which means to play D you have to stand there.

In the better conferences and at the tourney the refs tend to let them play but it leaves way to much discretion in the refs hands

It is the most frustrating thing about basketball. We haven't gotten a borderline call since I've been watching.
