Pinkel-SEC officials came back to MU and said Hilton's punt return should have been interference. Penton's interference shouldn't have been.

They missed a face mask non-call against UGA, 2nd half I believe. Crystal clear in the replay.

Both resulted in 3 points. PI was on 3rd and 10. Punt was in great field position (although that didn't matter all game).

And? Whats new? What is the official rule on punt interference? I thought they should have given a one yard cushion. That right? It seemed like he really had no chance to catch the ball.
That's going to have to be cleaned up because some kid is gonna get hurt real bad. To me it's every bit as bad as targeting. Defenseless player etc.

This really should be behind the scenes type stuff. Serves no purpose to anyone but the coaches.

Yeah, but it doesn't change anything now.
They should have fixed it on the field, I know you can't do that all the time, but these were fairly obvious calls. Pick up the flag, let the guys play.
Those are moments that the refs let the home crowd sway their decisions, instead of getting booed during the game, they wait for the conference to cover their asses on Monday.
I'd rather they get booed during the game because they fricked up and fixed it.

The PI was the worst call I've seen this year, the ball landed 15 yards out of bounds.

Was thinking the same when that happened. Ball barely touched player and he was blasted. Unless college rules are different from NFL.
