Just heard that on the broadcast. You think you'll resign him?

They were talking about that on sports radio yesterday. The general consensus is they will pay to keep him here.
Moose, Hosmer, Cain at some point someone may leave. They are all equally important to the chemistry of the team. Every year, David Glass has loosened the belt. By the time some of these contracts come due, hopefully Glass will loosen up enough to keep most of these guys. They are all good.

I don't know if they will get this game restarted. The rain system stretches all the way into southern Texas.

As popular as Gordon is I think they will keep him.Probably why they let Shields go.Do you listen to 610 or 810?What is the weather supposed to be tomorrow?Wish this rain would move out.

Rain sucks. I'll take the W though. Playing some good ball right now

610 just because of the format. When it's not baseball season, I shitcan that station.
I think they like Gordon as the face of the organization. He's a family guy, great player etc. The only think that might derail that would be a nagging injury or his play really falling off. He's had a slow and late start this season because of off season wrist surgery. I don't think he has heated up yet at the plate. He's a much better hitter than we've seen so far this year.

I have tickets to tomorrows game. I hope theres a break in the rain also. Doesn't sound good though. Tonights game was just getting interesting when they called it. Would have been fun to watch. I think Cain was happier than anyone. Lackey was in his head big time. He had Cain pretty frustrated.

I listened to 610, but yeah, when MLB season is over I didn't listen as much.Bob Fescoe clowned on the Tigers so much and kissed Kansas arse I stopped listening to him.
I think Glass is smart enough to pay him.I don't think they have a bunch of money tied up in other players.I'm sure Gordon loves playing close to home too.

My friend has season tickets he splits with one of his friends. We're meeting up at Legends before or after game at Dave And Buster's.Really like Legends. We got seats in upper deck behind home plate.Hate to drive all the way down there and the game be rained out or shortened.Oh well, will make the best of it either way.Where is your seat?Who is your starter?

We're upper deck this game first base side. I can remember the exact seat/section.
They are calling for rain still, but sporadic. They think they can get the game in but potions will be wet.
Glass needs a partner with money. But the problem is those partners I think want to move the team which I beleive was a big no no with Ewing Kauffman. They will pay him. He's too entrenched in the team and community now to leave. So is Moose and Hosmer. There would be hell to pay if they don't hold on to those guys.
Yardano Ventura is on the mound for the Royals today. Get ready for some antics. He wears his feelings on his sleeve. It's what got him in trouble early in the season. He seems to have settled down. He pitches in the mid to upper 90's. Can get triple digit speeds. Has a tendancy to over throw at times. He will not shy away from challenging hitters. He goes right at them. His two main pitches are his fastball and his change up sprinkled in. I think he has a breakingball or curve too. Mainly fastball with movement. If you see him out of the strike zone, he's probably over throwing.

Sucks a big one.
That's my reason also for turning off 610 after baseballs over. 810 is ok. But they take too many calls from people that are drunk or are generally just being stupid. It's as almost as unbearable as Fescoe. 810 also seems much more critical about the Royals also. They seem to just want to complain about everything, never good news. 610 does a great job of following and reporting the Royals.

Won't be an easy sweep today. Wacha is on the mound for the dirtybirds. Royals can get it done though.

There wouldn't be a better partner than the Cerner boys (who I believe owns the local pro soccer team and we know how good they are) who fit the criteria of not moving the team per Ewing's wishes. They could also outright buy the team as they have the bucks. They are local and run a top notch pro franchise.

Nothing but a ku hack, plus I hate his whiny arse voice. I listen to 810 especially in the morning with Border Patrol. Steven St John is a Mizzou fan and will always give Mizzou a fair shake. Afternoons are pretty good with BTL (even with Keitzmans shortfalls).
610 just doesn't do it for me, frickface Fescoe in the mornings and the young, boring, off the wall youngies in the afternoon isn't my cup of tea.

Thats why when baseball is done, I'm done with 610.

I'm thinking the Cards will be alittle pissed for losing last nights rain shortened game. Can't say I blame 'em, that's gotta' suck.
Interesting matchup today with Ventura vs Wacha Wacha Wacha.

They need to start wearing out Ventura before starts. He's over pitching. He settles fine in the later innings.
Congrats to the dirty birds on the win. See you again in a few.
