Is he still going to take his officials elsewhere???
Not meant to sound like a downer but I hope hes a solid commit... he didnt seem so high on us, even in an interview after the visit. Idk what made him pull the trigger??
All that aside, he is a great player and I am glad we landed him (for the time being) Welcome aboard Wingo!!

This is one I'm pumped about. I think he'll be special at corner. I know we lose Ponder and Gaines this season, but I think with Penton and Gibson returning, and adding a guy like Wingo...

I think Penton is going to be real good for us. I am definitely no talent scout, but I thought he looked pretty good this year when he played. I'm excited to see what he can do going forward.

Penton did look good, and I don't think you have to be a talent scout to know that the staff thinks so too - they played him as a true freshman. I'm feeling a little better about our secondary next year, but still not good about the DL yet.

Our DL is going to get awfully thin awfully fast if we don't land some. Should be ok next year assuming guys like Logan, Osborne and Crawford can contribute but the next year we add no one and lose a couple. Hoch for sure.

Should be fine on tackles for a couple years, need to get a couple more ends but who knows what next year's recruiting is going to bring.
